This is our first attempt to set up something like this. In our previous travels we kept in touch with friends by e-mailing weekly "reports". They became popular and some of our friends would forward copies to their friends and the number of people interested in our travels grew.
We are getting ready to set off on another trip across Canada, which might lead us into becoming "full time" gypsies. We have purchased a larger tow vehicle and a new Montana 5th wheel trailer. We will take delivery of the new unit next week, take a couple of weeks to iron out any bugs that we might find, get it packed up and head out.
It is going to take some time for us to get used to the process used to set up a good looking blog page, so bear with us as we struggle with this process over the next few days.

Yes, this is a neat idea. Looking forward to hearing all about it! Miss you both. Stephanie
ReplyDeleteThis is a really exciting way to stay connected! Can't wait to see more pictures of the new rig on here! How did you come to your decisions? I bet many could learn from your experience in that field.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea ... you can take a load of vicarious travelers with you! It will be fun to keep up with your adventures each day or so via photos and story. I look forward to viewing your new home/rig and and seeing you both before you turn to the west.
ReplyDeleteStill packing? Try leaving the kitchen sink at home, even though the rig is large enough to take a small apartment with you. Looking forward to following your adventures through the highways and by ways of North America. Tally ho and all that rot. I know that you will have a lot to report.
ReplyDeleteHappy trails to you! We drove to the Lunenburg campgrounds yesterday to offer more "departure" support but, thankfully, your slot was vacant.
ReplyDeleteRex Venoit says, "Hi"....he's piled our winter wood were your old RV rested last year. The sod-guys have done a botched job at the end of the driveway. It's Market day in Lu'burg.
May all your vexations be small ones. Enjoy today.
