Delivery Today

Picked up the new Montana today. Spent about three hours going over the systems and how to operate them.  had a few minor changes made on the spot but in general the unit was well prepared by the dealership.
Wrote the final cheque to pay for it. We can now sing the refrains of a song popular many years ago.
We aint got a barrel of money, maybe we're ragged and funny, but we'll travel the road, sharing the load, side by side.
After all the paperwork was completed, we drove to a  parking lot and did some practice parking, backing up and generally getting the feel for the rig. We drove to our storage site and got it set up there for the next few days while we load it up for this summers trip.
By the middle of next week we hope to be set up at a local rv park to test all the systems and live in it for a week or so before setting off. Hopefully this will allow us to fix any small problems that we find. It will also give us a chance to have family and friends stop in to see us, look at the new toys and say our goodbyes until the fall.
More to follow.
